Sometimes life sucks. It sucks so freaking bad that you feel like you are drowning. I have been there. Oh trust me I have been there and it is not a lot of fun. When I was in the depths of my hell I was so scared. Scared of being hurt again. Scared of allowing anyone in. Scared of who I had become. And yet here’s the thing.
That is the time that you need to step up and do something. ANYTHING!!!! Need a little help? Sit down with a pen and paper (not your phone!!) and make a list. Make a list of random little things that make you happy. A hot bath, a cheese Danish from the Bon Ton Bakers, the smell of fresh cut grass, someone tripping (yes I laugh at people sometimes). Write out as many as you can. And then? Find someone to do your happy list with. A friend, a teacher, a mentor or even just yourself! And when you are working through this list? Make eye contact with people and say hi. This has multiple effects. 1. You start to get pretty freaking happy as you work your way through this list. 2. You are not the only person who feels invisible. Guess what!?!? EVERYONE ELSE DOES TOO!!!! So, what if you could make someone else’s day more amazing? Let me tell you how amazing this is. So, this is my challenge to you. Step up. You don’t have to change over night. You don’t even have to make a massive change! You just have to do one little tiny action. One small tiny action and these little ones? ADD UP. They add up to make a massive change. So what if you did? What if you did one small thing to get yourself healthier? Or happier? Or on the right track to finding your tribe and community? Because you are not alone. You are loved loving and loveable. You are worthy of this life and one better than your wildest dreams. And more than anything? YOU ARE ENOUGH
